March 19, 201313 yr Hi all, Not sure if I'm posting this in the right section. Couldn't seem to find the right one to put it in so I'll try here for now. I've just recently purchased and downloaded the pmdg 737 800/900 base package from pmdg website. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit. I'm able to install the package without any issues but here's my problem: When i launch FSX and try to pick one of the pmdg 737 planes, i get 2 window prompts: 1) One asked me if I wish to run the fsx2crew voice (which i purchased at the same time); 2) Online Activation window pops up to entre a product activation code. I think i'm putting in the right code but when I click on activate, it's says it's unable to reach the activation servers and to verify my internet connection (which is working just fine). Then the second window appears saying I don't have a valid license for the product everything closes. My firewall was disabled during installing and I ran the program using administrative rights. I'm still waiting to hear back from pmdg directly for a solution. So I turn to the AVSIM community in hopes that one of you would have a solution to my problem or at least know what I'm talking about. Again, if I posted this in the wrong spot, i apologize. Thanks in advance. Trance77

April 24, 201412 yr DocMencer, Would you mind explain you answer to Trance77 above? I am trying to reinstall the 737NGX for more than 3 days and the "check your internet connection" keeps coming. I opened a ticket and their answer was different from yours - they say my firewall or router is blocking port 8888. I do not use firewall software as the PC is dedicated to FSX. April 24, 201412 yr Commercial Member I do not use firewall software as the PC is dedicated to FSX. Windows has a built in firewall in Win 7, and your router is not your FSX PC. Check the configurations on both. Would you mind explain you answer to Trance77 above? It's predominantly irrelevant. He was basically saying "if PMDG's registration servers are down, you will get an error message." Since they're not down, the answer is irrelevant. Kyle Rodgers
April 24, 201412 yr Hi Kyle, Yes, Windows has a built in firewall in Win 7, but mine is off. My router is a Cisco router, which has a firewall as all of them have. In the router software I have opened port 8888. There is a remote chance my ISP is blocking connections such as PMDG activation, anyway I did installed 777 three weeks ago in this same machine. And, thanks, you did answer DocMencer's theory that the servers are down - they are not, which I already imagined, and the fact that such an outage longing for days would produce noise and news. Can you help me with more ideas of what to do to install my 737NGX? April 24, 201412 yr Commercial Member Can you help me with more ideas of what to do to install my 737NGX? I can't think of any, but you could always respond their email to you with further questions. That's the whole point of product support Kyle Rodgers
