September 11, 200421 yr Finally, realistic flight plans for Fed Ex. Thanks Brian Mitchell and the project Fed Ex team. :-jumpy
September 11, 200421 yr Sweetness!! I admit I was shocked after I went to KDFW after installing UT and there were no Fed Ex at the proper spots, then decompiled the BGL to find there were only a handful of flights. This is welcome indeed! Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/PBTMCa.jpgCalVirAir International VACalVirAir International Best, Michael KDFW
September 11, 200421 yr This is good news indeed. But has anyone succeeded in making these flight plans compile? I tried using TTools and it choked on the aircraft file -- no cruise speeds. Adding those was easy enough, but it choked on the airports file -- no entry for CYOW.
September 12, 200421 yr I have it in my airport.txt file:CYOW,N45* 17.73',W75* 40.13',374Hope that works :)
September 12, 200421 yr Help needed to install. I am at a loss as to installing this flight plan since the readme has no detailed instructions. I have TTools but really have only use PAI's installation process which is really easy. Please supply a "detailed" install process for us 'dummies'.Thanks.
September 12, 200421 yr Yeah, they are not the easiest of flighplans to install, I am pretty good at this sorta stuff, and it took me a while. But still, I am glad that Brian has made them for use, and they look great once they are in the sim.The 2 points I think that would have made them easier to install are.1) The aircraft.txt file would have been nice to have been "pre-formatted"2) It would have been nice to have had some aircraft.cfg entries for the repaints that are included. These would have made the install a lot simpler for people who know less about Ai plans.CheersDan.
September 12, 200421 yr >Well, would you help out an post the processes? Sure would be>appreciated.andrew/ramsgateI suggest that you go to projectai message board where you will see alarge thread on Fed ex.www.projectai.com.You can also get any help here to enable you to install plans for yourself.BTW these plans take some work but are well worth it.RegardsAndrewEGMH.KentUK.
September 12, 200421 yr If you're having problems compiling flightplans or installing repaints, see the post I made in the FedEx topic at PAI.http://www.flightsimmer.com/forums/showpos...8&postcount=332It contains useful links and file updates.ilovetofly, all the help you need can be found at http://www.jetdoc.com/HLP/
September 12, 200421 yr I seem to remember a set of flightplans for the FedEx Caravan not to long ago, but I am unable to locate them, anyone have a clue?? Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/PBTMCa.jpgCalVirAir International VACalVirAir International Best, Michael KDFW
September 13, 200421 yr I remember them too, but not where I saw them. This isn't the last you'll hear from Brian Mitchell, he has still has some international flights to release, and he's working on the feeder flights(for your Caravan).
September 13, 200421 yr Author Thanks for posting that link. The attachments on that post provide proper format aircraft and airports file for use with AITM. Not to mention links to the AI models.scott s..
