March 21, 201313 yr Hi everyone, I have downloaded the Kalitta Posky Boeing 747-200 Freighter for FS2004. I am also using AES from Aerosoft and would like to use this ground service equipment for this aircraft but just realised that this model also come with here default gse. So using both woud result in overlapping gse, only for the lowerdeck compartments that means. I can keep the default gse for the maindeck and the bulk hold, because that is not simulated in AES. I have checked this aircraft.cfg but cannot find a line where this is mentioned and can be removed. Has anyone here experience with his? 'Cause I would love to know how to remove it. What I also noticed is that the plane 'jumps' every couple of minutes. Do I need to change/adjust something in the aircraft.cfg? Does anyone know a good (Freeware/payware) panel for the B747-200? I own a copy of Ready for Pushback, but find that a bit outdated as it was orginally designed for FS2000/FS2002. Thanks for sharing ! Guy
March 21, 201313 yr Mate, try contacting edetroit over at the screenshot forum here at avsim, he'll probably send his intelliscene.cfg for AES. Second: there ain't no better systems to the 742 as there are stated by RFP. There are some ideas sprucing up at the Fsdeveloper forums, none of them finishing up yet. So we have to live with bad graphics, but thats ok with me...
March 22, 201313 yr I don't know of any way to remove Posky's default gse, it's part of the model. Maybe it could be rendered invisible using the "alpha trick" but I don't know if it would work.
March 22, 201313 yr It is very easy. Open the window in your panel cfg that has the Posky Utility and switch off what you do not wish to use. My FS Videos
March 23, 201313 yr Author Thanks for the help guys ! I will look into it tomorrow. Did not noticed the Posky utillity window yet.
April 9, 201313 yr Hello, from the day I saw EDETROIT's videos on youtube I'm searching for these 747-200 incl. a good panel - could you please tell me, where I can find that stuff? Oliver
April 9, 201313 yr Im interested too, edetroit's 742 panel is fantastic, it's a shame Ed dont share/sell it. Riccardo OS: Windows 10-64 bit, CPU: i7-7700K @4.20 GHz, GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 G1 8GB GDDR5, RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 32GB 3000MHz, MB: MSI Z270
April 9, 201313 yr Author The 747-200/300 models are freeware and can be found at either here at avsim.com or flightsim.com or here http://poskyarchive.com/boeing/ I believe edetroit has also a few liveries on the shelf to be uploaded The panel which he's using is (unfortuatly) not available. He makes his panels himself, which i must say he's done a amazing job !
April 9, 201313 yr Apart from RFP 747-200 and CLS 742-200 is there any other payware classic 747 out there for fs9? Riccardo OS: Windows 10-64 bit, CPU: i7-7700K @4.20 GHz, GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 G1 8GB GDDR5, RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 32GB 3000MHz, MB: MSI Z270
April 9, 201313 yr Author Well for the classic series there is only RFP and CLS as you already mentioned. Till now no other payware is available (unfortuatly)
April 10, 201313 yr Which one of these would you prefer? I read at SIMFLIGHT.de, that CLS is working on a new version.... http://www.simflight.de/2013/04/07/cls-arbeitet-an-747-classic-v1-5/comment-page-1/#comment-19581 Release date is May 2013 - but there where just some modifications at the FMC....
April 10, 201313 yr I tried RFP, it has good system but poor VC graphic. Don't have CLS, but viewing on yt seems to be better in VC, but less complex than RFP regarding systems simulated.
