777 textures?

Featured Replies

I wonder which textures will be released as part of the PMDG 777 package?

My vote is for a V Australia repaint :)

Pretty sure all the real world 777-200LR operators will be on the PMDG homepage under (official) repaints. I suspect some popular -200ER operators like BAW etc will also be included (with the -200LR package).

Virgin use 777-300ER's so I guess their repaint will be included with that package. If it isn't, just wait another month and I'm sure someone will make one and put it on the Avsim.com file library.

It's called Virgin Australia now, Callsign is Velocity even on the 777's (not Vee-oz as it was a couple of years ago) and they're eventually going to paint them all in the Virgin Australia livery (There is still the odd V Australia livery flying around, and regardless even if there aren't any left by the time PMDG release the -300ER, It's a good looking livery. - Probably better looking than the new one.)

Ah right on, thanks hopskip.

Yeah the new paint job looks rather clean, I didn't realize they changed it. If not, I hope they include a paint kit at least so we can post our own repaints on OZx or similar!

Cheers

You can identify the most likely candidates using this table. Special liveries I am hoping for include Air China—Phoenix, British Airways—Landor, and United Airlines—Battleship Gray.

I would love to see this when the -300 comes out

It's a good looking livery. - Probably better looking than the new one.

I couldn't agree more, I like the new Virgin Australia livery on the smaller jets (737s, e-jets) but on the 777 it looks a bit wierd IMO. Probably because of the vast expanse of white on the fuselage.
