March 25, 201313 yr I use today saitek pro yoke and saitek pro rudders and Im waiting for my warthog throttles. I would like to know if I can use them as is and just set them up in fsx or is there anything else that needs to be done for flying 737ngx.. I was thinking like if, afterburner detent and other functions for the fighter plane are not "realistic" for a 737. Thanks
March 25, 201313 yr Use mine for the NGX, perfect. Use FSUIPC and (important) "remove" all axis and buttons from fsx. March 25, 201313 yr Me too, I jkust dont lift the throttle over the top detent :-) You dont have to use FSUIPC, as you can assign it all via FSX if you want, but FSUIPC does have some other "Nice to have's" built in.. Richard... Amateur Pilot and UK Web Hosting Guru 🙂

March 25, 201313 yr @@SierraHotel - I use the bottom detent for reverse thrust, Sorry, thought there was a top detent too.. Otherwise it would be engaging reverse thrust at full power, and that would be real bad.. Richard... Amateur Pilot and UK Web Hosting Guru 🙂
March 25, 201313 yr There actually is a top detent (for afterburner), but it's very easy to install or remove it whether you fly an airliner or a fighter jet. If you own FSUIPC you could just leave the detent in place all the time and adjust your settings in such a way, that you just don't use it when flying airliners. The video below shows how to install/remove the top detent. The video lasts about a minute and a half, but it's really a five-seconds job once you get the hang of it. If you don't refasten the screws too tight, you won't even need that allen key next time you do it. With kind regards, Kevin Schepers

Will this install/remove of the top detent affect the warranty of the product? MB
April 12, 201313 yr Absolutely not. It's purposely made to install/remove at the users discretion. /Russell.

July 20, 201312 yr I use Linda to assign pmdg specific functions to my warthog like TOGA and auto throttle soft disconnect etc...... I have in the past used FSUIPC too but at the moment Linda is good.
