Blueprint updating many airports

Featured Replies

Just got an email notice that Blueprint is updating many airports and fixing DX10 compatibility issues, as well as improving the textures and updating the models for many.  Some of the updates are free, others will be all new versions.  My home town KMSP is among the all-new versions (though it looks like it's not out yet).  Performance has been improved at all or some of these airports as well.

No moving Jetways still right?

Their older sceneries certainly say that but I'm not seeing any mention of it in the new sceneries.  I see that the new v.2 KIAD no longer has a warning about a lack of moving jetways like the old sceneries do though, so maybe that's a good sign?

They seem pretty strict about sticking to static jetways, but their sceneries always look good.  I have most of their sceneries, and I'm glad they continue to update them.  However, when develeopers like FSDT developed versions of airports already made by BluePrint, I went with FSDT, which in my humble opinion is the best.  I wish BluePrint would tackle major airports that no one else has developed.  I noticed they want to do KSFO next, but FlightBeam, which is amost a clone of FSDT, already developed a great version, which they plan to update.

There are busy airports in the U.S. like KEWR and KBWI, which BluePrint could take on.  And there are also hubs overseas that none of the major developers have reproduced, like ZBAA, RJAA, and others.

I agree, would be nice to see some undeveloped airports get serviced rather than seeing a 3rd version of a popular airport.
