and greatly missed by the Flight Simulation community.

'Opa', a selfless and wonderful person, helped 1000s of people on the AVSIM forums and elsewhere, and also volunteered in the Library.

When a member has been very very helpful and contributing a lot, perhaps his name (David 'Opa' Marshall) can be used as an award or recognition to those who have been amazingly contributing for the community, "Opa Marshall Award" for instance. It is not difficult to spot some senior members who have been actively helping and contributing by creating freeware stuffs or writing very useful tips and tutorials for example. Just a thought

I concur with the award idea-- a David "Opa" Marshall award would be much appreciated.

David helped me personally on many occasions--a great man, and generous in his help.
