Setting the HDG knob

Featured Replies

Hi Bryan!

In the real world, whose responsibility is it to keep the HDG knob aligned to current aircraft heading?

If the FO's, could you ensure that this process is automated in FS2Crew B7777 please?

Cheers, R

When the autopilot is "on", which it usually is most of the time, the autopilot panel is generally the responsibility of the Pilot Flying.

In FS2Crew, you are the Pilot Flying.

So that would be your job....   :P

As for automating it when the autopilot is off... it would be tricky to do because what if you manually change the heading, and then FS2Crew starts moving the heading selector as well.

So you're both fighting over the hdg selector.

Cheers,
