Any new scenery for Madeira or Rome Ciampino airport?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know of any new/upcoming scenery for Rome Ciampino and Madeira airports? I have the very old scenery of these airports made by Cloud9 and Aerosoft but ever since I upgraded my computer 2 years ago I never installed these sceneries on the new computer. Now I am thinking about reinstalling them, but I don't really want to if new scenery for these airports will be made.

For Rome Ciampino, there's a freeware version out - http://www.simflight.com/2012/07/28/rome-ciampino-lira-freeware/ that is reportedly very good.

You might find some good freeware for Madeira airports from this website - http://www.freewarescenery.com/fs2004/portugal.html.

I heard that commercial developers are not updating any of their FS9 sceneries and are working mainly on FSX sceneries and updates.

Best regards,

Jim

Thanks, Jim.Just the thing I was look for after landing my 737-800 at Madeira only to have weird scenery await me, which I posted here aksing for any clues. I'd looked at that Aerosoft scenery but thought maybe wait for a sale.

Unfortunately, the FSX file at flightsim is corrupted or dead as it would not open.

And who said anything about FS9 files working in FSX or expecting them to work in FSX when the file I obtained was specifically for FSX?
