Set altitute 13000 feet

Recommended Posts

I'm really loving FS2Crew, I have only done 2 flights and I am almost up to speed on the PMDG NGX.

However there are one or two things that the Co-pilot doesn't seem to understand.

I am at 4000 feet and I have been cleared to FL130, ok I say to the CO-pilot,

Me     "Set altitude thirteen thousand feet.

Co-pilot    'Double Check that please"

He seems to understanf 'three thousand feet'  'four thousand feet' and so on?

Thanks

Julian

Julian your probably better posting in the NGX fs2c forum but I find that its better to call FL at 10,ooo ft and above to avoid any confusion but I rarely get that error these days

Brilliant thank you.

I am exhausted, because I have been screaming at my PC for the past hour and a half.

I have been trying out the comm1 swaps on the ground, just to get the hang of it.

I think it is a US thing to say 'Point' but in the UK it is 'decimal' which is hard to get used to.  :P

I can now fly take off and land  without ever touching anything in the cockpit except for the Toga button and I dont think there is a command for reverse thrust, all on voice command..

RADIOS:

- SWAP COMM 1

- SWAP COMM 2

- SWAP NAV 1

- SWAP NAV 2

- SET COURSE ON MY SIDE XXX

- SET COURSE ON YOUR SIDE XXX

- SET XXX POINT XX ON NAV 1

- SET XXX POINT XX ON NAV 2

- SET XXX POINT XX ON COMM 1

- SET XXX POINT XX ON COMM 2

NOTES:

1. You can use "DECIMAL" in place of "POINT".

2. You can also set the STANDBY radios by speaking "STANDBY" in front of COMM or NAV.

Example:

- SET XXX POINT XX ON STANDBY NAV 1
