April 16, 201313 yr Author Commercial Member Back on Windows 98 a virus destroyed all my data...I even had to wait for a new disc formatter from Dell. It was one of the very first low level viruses.... Well that brought me to Linux and I've had no such problem since - and I didn't need to buy a antivirus that slows the system. :lol:
