April 11, 201313 yr Uncle Bob!!!! Are you still out there somewhere? I've been flying this aircraft "stukkend" for years now. The panel and captain's seat are badly worn!!!! I cant read the labels on the glare shield any more and the numbers on the throttles have worn right off!!! I need an upgrade. Any news ? You did say you were working on further additions and improvements. What's the latest ? Regards Trevor
September 10, 201312 yr Author Seriously Bob You've been VERY quiet - what about the progress on the panel ? Can we expect a further update ? Regards Trevor
September 16, 201312 yr Geez, leave the man to his devices. Or ask for the source code and get started yourself. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
September 17, 201312 yr Author Gee, what pill did you swallow ? Are you always so friendly? This is what Bob said last year September "The Tinmouse II is alive, and currently in "maintenance mode." From time to time I get into a creative mood and a burst of development activity ensues. At present it's stable and more complete than I ever intended it to be. Someone else is working on some enhancements to the FS9 version. So there will probably be further progress, but no timeline on what or when... " My first post was in April 2013 and the second in Sept 2013!!!!!!!!!! I'm simply enquiring about the progress. Try a different pill!!!!! Trevor
September 17, 201312 yr Gee, what pill did you swallow ? Are you always so friendly? Only when it comes to nagging inquries. Bob specifically said that there is "no timeline on what or when... ". Also, since this is a freeware project, so there's no obligations involved whatsoever. This includes communicating the project status. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
September 17, 201312 yr Author You need to consult a dictionary to establish the meaning of the word nagging. Please keep your useless comments to yourself. My 1st post is dated April 2013 - it is now Sept 2013 - I expect a little common decency in a simple reply from him.

September 19, 201312 yr There's no progress report because there is no progress to report...I have been happily occupied elsewhere with other interests, both in and out of simulation. There have been several commercial B732 add-on releases in the meantime, so the Tinmouse's niche has some company now, which dampens any sense of urgency to do new things on the 'mouse. I also have not had a working install of FS9 here for well over a year, so prospects for continued development for that platform are somewhat cloudy, as I have shifted my focus to FSX and, to a lesser extent, P3D. I thought I was clear that I'd post when or if there was something to report, so I really don't consider it to be a breach of "common decency" to not answer further inquiries (I get several a week at the Tin Mouse Project e-mail address as well). Frankly, this sort of unfriendly dialogue doesn't motivate me to sit down and work on it further... Well, with some C-vars at my disposal, I could put 3D stuff into the VC model... *Hint* *hint* (Just a suggestion, no worries. The VC merge works well as-is. September 19, 201312 yr Bjoern--do I remember correctly that your VC is for FS9 only? September 19, 201312 yr Nope, I got my FSX PC back online in May and have converted the model to FSX native standard since. From what I've gathered since, everything works as it should. The FS9 model also works in FSX, but a FSX native model is efficient. Besides, you'll have higher resolution textures available for the exterior. I want to retain FS9 model compatibility though as the stoneage crowd finally deserves a freeware 732 with a VC. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
