You can assign a short cut to the panel  either directly by editing the panel entry or with DBS panel assignment utility at

www.dbsim.com.

bought this 5 months ago for Vatsim. I use it nearly every Pmdg 737 flight and cant fly with out especially larger air ports you can even get directions straight to the gate.

For me the route to gate is a striaght line-from the plane  to the gate. Do you get the same.

Ive never had a straight line unless its the end of dog leg.  I mostly fly In USA  maybe that makes a difference.
