Maybe a PMDG A380?

Featured Replies

but if Boeing did, why wouldn't Airbus do?

Some aircraft manufacturers do not like to see their aircraft recreated for FS. Gulfstream is one example. I have no idea what the Airbus official stance is but FS Labs seems to be doing OK on their own.

I would like to see a PMDG A380 as well, but it's unlikely. Plus I don't think we'll see PMDG making a decision until perhaps after the 777 and DC-6 are released, as they already have enough products in the pipeline for the next 3 to 4 years. As for the 787 QWings is doing quite a nice job, I expect the systems complexity to be around the level of the Majestic Q400 Pilot edition.

Please, everyone stop... Just stop... You do not need any special relationship with Boeing or Airbus, in fact if any addon company tried to obtain the actual data packages from manufacturers you would see a lot of extra zeros added on to the price tag before you hit purchase, not to mention that data would be mostly useless on a crude platform like FS.

Regarding system logic, everything you need is out there, either through contacting an airline through a deal (offer a CBT for example) or just sourcing the data from certain members of your beta team.

PMDG may have a 'special relationship' but it is NOT required. Let's put an end to this silly simism, I guarantee if anyone tried to call EADS directly asking for help with developing an FSX addon the next thing they would hear is the phone hanging up.
