New nVidia Beta driver: 320.0

Recommended Posts

I just downloaded it from the EVGA site.  Has anybody else tried this yet? :)

Suppose to give a 6 percent boost for games listed other (of course...) than FSX.

Just a F.Y.I.

Every release for the last 5yrs has give a 6% increase in performance for everything but FSX. :)

Sorry I couldn't resist LOL.  The day we really see FSX listed on there is the day I will win the $300 million dollar powerball lottery.

On a side note, I hope this addresses maybe some of the issues I have every now and again with seeing slight "grainy" textures in Assassins Creed 3

I couldn't resist.  I did a clean install, and took a flight out of S53.  The driver doesn't seem to have any FSX 'issues',so I'll keep it.

yes but what about the performance increase?

LOL...none on my system running FSX, as the last official driver already kept my 30 FPS set limit pegged to that figure. This one does the same, so I can say no detrimental findings.  Graphics look superb. Animation is as smooth as the present non-beta.
