April 28, 201313 yr So, something strange. When I delete key assignments via the controls, the next time I start FSX they are all back. This seems to only happen to the Num pad keys that I assign to other things (views, rudder trim). Any suggestions? It's pretty frustrating and I'd appreciate the help! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dana Palmer KJAC
April 28, 201313 yr Just a thought: after you've deleted the key assignments in Numpad, did you check if there were any assignments to the corresponding keys to the left of Numpad? I assume you are not using NumLock. Chris
April 28, 201313 yr I deleted all my assigments except a very few and just use FSUIPC since FSX kept doing that. Got rid of that problem. Gregg Seipp "A good landing is when you can walk away from the airplane. A great landing is when you can reuse it." i9 64GB RAM, GTX-5090
April 28, 201313 yr Commercial Member Two things might help. 1. Be sure to make key assignments while not loaded in the sim. Most changes will not keep beyond that flight. 2. User Account Control (UAC) may be interfering, might be better to have it turned off when you have to make changes (most FSX guys run it off all the time and instead they don't use an admin account and run very good Anti Malware software.
