April 29, 201313 yr Has anyone managed to get this to work, with either the NG or the Airbus XE? I've spent much of the evening with my new Saitek throttle mapping the far left lever of the quadrant as a reverse lever and not being very successful. The old faithful 'throttle decrease' key press rather than an axis, via the 'buttons and switches' page of FSUIPC and then 'throttle cut' when released works fine, but it bangs in full reverse which is of course forbidden at many airpors. The 'button' method seems to give you all or nothing. I did try to assign the left most lever to the 'reverser' axis, which works fine on the ground. I get the full range of reverse thrust from idle to full but it refuses to work properly during landing and doesn't seem to respond to the lever being pulled until I'm slowed down enough not to need it. Once activated it works. Anyone care to share their reverse thrust FSUIPC settings? Ta.
April 30, 201313 yr I have not used this on the equipment you list but have been successful with thrust reverse on both prop and jet aircraft (King Air, RJ 700, 737, etc). This seems to give a good smooth reverse on landing. Only use this on landing - never do power push-back. My FSUIPC config for this is: 18=R1,6,C65602,0 ; With next, thrust reverse19=U1,6,C65604,0 ; With previous, thrust reverse Where controller 1 is the throttle quadrant and button 6 is the 'button' below the detent on the throttle lever.
