NGX activation is working....too well

Featured Replies

Greetings all,

I recently reinstalled FSX, along with the NGX (-600/700/800/900). Started FSX, loaded the -700WL version, got the "activation" prompt, entered the info, and the activation was successful.

However, I have loaded the same plane (-700WL) several times afterwards, and each time I am getting that same activation prompt. I thought it only needed to be done the first time, and that's it. Any ideas what the issue is?

Many thanks.

Id send PMDG a ticket via their support system. They are very good at replying to those.

Make sure you are running FSX "as admin" also.

Make sure you're entering the 600/700 key and not the 800/900 one - that's usually the cause of this...

Ryan,

Yep, that appears to be the issue. Strange....if I put the wrong code (-800/900 for the -600/700 plane, or v.v.), why wouldn't the server reject it?  The incorrect code still worked, and the plane loaded normally, at least for that session. That's what threw me off.

Thanks,

Ron
