  1. If you are in the IAE model, then that's supposed to happen. In the CFM model, you need some power to get moving, then you pretty much hold speed at idle thrust.
  2. Just on the second point, the V-speeds we provide in the MCDU are only very rough guides; we'd definitely recommend using an app like TOPCAT (or there seems to be a good freeware one called TPC around) to get proper V-speeds, as well as FLEX and Flap settings

    Yes, there's wing flex
  4. John, I can assure you it was either misheard or misspoken - there WILL be an upgrade price to P3D if you decide to buy the FSX one now.
  5. Hi Pete, not sure exactly what you're confused about. If you want to buy it today (or, whenever we get the shop open again) then it's $99. Once we release the P3D version, you can pay an upgrade price, which will be the straight difference between the FSX and P3D prices.
  6. http://forums.flightsimlabs.com/index.php?/topic/7128-an-update/ Fill your boots
  7. My pants have tightened! Looking forward to getting some solid cargo hours in with FlyUK once this is out. Exciting!
  8. Very fast response! Thank, Kyle; much appreciated.
  9. Thanks for the update, Robert - presume this fixes the AIR COND and FUEL warnings that erroneously show?
  10. As is already stated, it's not a supported platform but I'm running FSX:SE with NGX+777 on Win8.1x64 without any issues.
  11. It's like no one even bothers reading the first post...
  12. I see the download servers are getting hammered and it's 23:48 here. Anyone already downloaded and willing to post a change log/full list of stuff in SP1d? I'm not on my PC so can't access OC and it's showing 3 hours to download from PMDG.
  13. The amount of people still setting store by anything Rob says (in regards to possible release days) is amusing.
  14. If you're trying to activate the 777, install the legacy SimConnect versions found in the FSX folder.
  15. Sorry to post again - but will SP1d include triple-click screw like in the 777? (TOGO/AT disc/AP disc)
  16. Here's hoping that SP1d also includes the left/middle/right click screw from the 777. That's very handy, that is.
  17. Rob, thanks for the update! Presuming you work with the guys at HiFi, but should we be expecting any issues with the upcoming SP2 of ActiveSky Next or should this SE-compatible NGX just work right off the bat? Can't wait to get back into the NGX (and ASN to be used. Clear weather is so boring!)
  18. Why pay for an upgrade when Rob has already stated that at least the weather radar will be released in SP1d for the NGX. It's in development and you may even see it in the next couple of weeks.
  19. Another +1 to hoping for some NGX in SE news soon! With ASN looking like we could only be a few weeks away from SE compatibility then I'll be hoping to get some NGX time with the new WX! 747v2 - I can wait, I know it'll be a day-zero purchase for me anyway.
  20. But why would you stay a version behind? Just update.
  21. You don't need to update, but doing the update will cause no harm. So the fact you've updated isn't an issue.
  22. Nope, just because you don't have SE doesn't mean you shouldn't update.
  23. Don't forget needing ASN to have FSX:SE compatibility these two are my main want at the moment (and the FSL A320-X).
  24. Thanks - saw this mentioned in another post and I've just tried it. My 777 now appears to be working in FSX:SE under Win8.1x64. Please take a virtual cookie of your choosing.
  25. Already checked that one. It appears that the PMDG DLLs can't find/validate the SimConnect DLLs and this is causing my issues but I don't know if this a Windows 8.1 issue or not.
