Very heavy stuttering on approach and landing! SORTED!

Recommended Posts

Delete SHADER and SHADER10 folders and let rebuild, sorts the problem.

I had the same problem but actually thought Opus was doing it. Once I disabled Opus dynamic head movements it solved the problem for me, but I lose the camera effects

After a lot of trial and error, I'm finding that Opus DHM is causing heavy stutters in/over or below heavy clouds.  You don't have to disable the cameras; just the DHM effect.  Open Opus, click cameras, find the Q400 assigned camera(s) then deselect DHM.  That will turn off the head movement but leave the cameras (and assigned shortcuts) intact.  You can always turn it back on while flying in better weather if you want but I'm finding that the head movement simulation doesn't work properly anyway, so I'm leaving my Q400 DHM option off, at least for now.  BTW, clear the shader cache anyway.
