May 10, 201313 yr I caved and bought this yesterday and it is AWESOME! I got the Qantas package with VC, it didn't seem to come with any of the manuals so I emailed Peter and he sent me a link to download them. The flight model is very very nice, probably the best I've experienced from any payware in XP. I've installed X-FMC to manage flight plans as well as SID/STAR's but I also noticed that you can use FSBuild to create your flight plan with relevant SID/STAR's and export it to the XP FMS format then load it directly via the INIT page on the MCDU. airlinejets, on 07 May 2013 - 06:26 AM, said: To be fair to potential buyers, the 380 VC is not anywhere close to what we are used to nowadays. Remember this was done nearly three years ago at a time when VCs in X-Plane were on the dry side. you have to admit, it still looks amazing for a 2011-2012 payware that still receives updates I actually don't mind the VC at all, might not be as nice as the 777 or A320 NEO but it's still very functional. I followed the instructions for setting up the views mapping them via the 1-5 keys which really helps. I'm glad that Peter decided to include a VC at all, I just can't get myself to fly with 2D panels, only been simming a couple of years so guess I'm not of the 'old school' 2D mindset ^_^ Michael R
May 10, 201313 yr I'm not old school either. Was using a home brewed VC back in the days of FS98. That would be 15 years I'm not old school either. Was using a home brewed VC back in the days of FS98. That would be 15 years
