May 7, 201313 yr I have noticed (a while ago) that whenever the t7 is parked at the gate ONE of the flaperons are drooping but NOT BOTH... Why?? Luke? Flying Tigers Group
May 7, 201313 yr Hydraulics weren't pressurized and one of the systems probably still had a little pressure on it, hence only one flaperon drooping. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
May 7, 201313 yr John is correct. They don't always drop depending how much pressure is left in the system once turned off by crew/maintenance. Sometimes they're only droped a tiny bit that is only noticeable when looking from the cabin - but small things like rain/snow can knock them down. A friend told me a funny story: They were being De-Iced at Birmingham and one aileron dropped when they sprayed the liquid on it and the de-icer thought he broke it lol. Sometimes you see one down, both down or none down! Same story with the elevators! The rudder always goes either left or right when the system is depressurised. I have a feeling PMDG's will just drop to a pre-determined amount once Hydrualics are turned off. - Luke Pabari

Am I fired  --Edit-- I was sure it was simply because it depends on how much pressure/quantity is left in the system after depressurisation. That's assuming no systems are powered up by Maintenance etc. Maybe you can point out where I've gone wrong haha... - Luke Pabari
