new xp10 owners should download all of Chris K's freeware which looks better than payware.

Do you mind taking a couple more shots showing some of the things that are different from standard xpx? Perhaps some low level shots. Thanks.

CYTZ Toronto Island Airport and Downtown Toronto Photo Scenery

International Scenery Development Group (ISDG)

Version 1.03 - Dec 22, 2012

__________________________________________________________

Features:

 • USGS 30cm/pix Hi-res Orthophotos.
 • A Plausible Toronto City Centre (Billy Bishop) Airport.
 • FreddyV's CN Tower Replacement Object (credits below)
 • Additional Toronto Downtown Buildings in various locations using the XP10 Art Library.

Note: this is a 100% original work for XP10 - and should not detract from Pachett's excellent CYTZ for v9/v10. It's merely a stand-in so that the Orthophotos line up.

Requirements:

- X-Plane 10.20 or Better (http://wiki.x-plane.com/beta)

- OpensceneryX 2.0 (http://opensceneryx.com/)

- A Modern Video Card with MINIMUM 512Mb VRAM.

- You will want to run this scenery at "very high" or "extreme" Texture Resolution.

- X-Plane 10.20 64-bit and 1 Gb VRAM Video card is recommended for the Higher Texture resolutions.

Complimentary packages (i.e. WHERES THE DOWNTOWN SKYLINE?!)

You should *also* install the following:

Jacques Brault - Toronto Skyline:

http://forums.x-plan...&showfile=17619

LLMars - Toronto Skyline LIT Textures:

http://forums.x-plan...&showfile=17695

Marginal - Animated Sea Traffic:

http://forums.x-plan...&showfile=17026

FlyingJackal/FlyJSim - Asphalt Runways Enhanced HD

http://forums.x-plan...&showfile=16270

Once done:

Delete your /Custom Scenery/scenery.ini file! (or manually position it in the .ini file so that this scenery is before any of the above mentioned Toronto Packs)

Upon reload, this scenery then merges with Jacques' excellent Toronto Skyline. Due to the way the X-Plane does object overlays, all 3 scenes blend into one seamless scenery

A big thanks for the heads up! This scenery is incredible and some of the best stuff I've ever seen in a sim! Shows what can happen when "plausible" meets some "reality" with photoscenery thrown in..

Really, really amazing!

A caution-I had 13 ai aircraft and got .2 fps when starting. Changing ai to 1 I can fly this scenery with complete smoothness, and am just amazed what is accomplished here!
