May 15, 201313 yr I have PSUIPC and I'm trying to program a button on my Saitek X-52 Joystick. I'm aware that two commands on one button would cause a conflict. I'm trying to slew so the plane goes straight up and stops, then control by using the arrows, but right now can't get it.
May 15, 201313 yr Well, I assume you mean FSUIPC. I have a similar issue. I do not have FSUIPC, but when I go into Slew, the plane spins wildly and moves rapidly in random directions. So, that is kind of a similar issue. Not sure what the deal is. So, I don't think it is unique to your system, if that is any comfort. ORBX- the way to go Sincerely, John McGee
May 15, 201313 yr delta: try to turn off joystick or yoke in the settings. check if you can slew with the arrow keys on your keyboard i am having the same issues and found the joystick to be the cause for this..
May 16, 201313 yr What you are asking for takes three key commands; Y to go into slew mode, Q to go up and then Z to stop the upward movement. The keys Q and Z can be used multiple times to speed up ascent or descent. How you can bind that to one controller setting is beyond me. Maybe a LUA script through FSUIPC? Or you could write an external program to handle the functions?

The same thing used to happen to me so I finally went in and checked settings and sure enough my yoke and pedals were bound to slew movements. My plane would launch into the sky and spin around uncontrollably. Go to settings and switch to slew control settings and delete all entries with an axis assigned. Problem solved. Jon Preston
