Recommended Posts

I just bought a new computer

Medion Multimedia Akoya E2035 (MD8378)

Intel core i3.3220

Nvidia GeForce GT 620

4GB Memory

500 GB HD

The monitor shows 2D panel elongated

I have tried to fix this and have recived advice from other simmers, nothing helps...Humph.

I have tried:

Panel_Stretching =0

WideViewAspect set to False and various resolutions

The screen is Medion 50.8 cm/20" LED-Background lit.

That is normal.

There are some panels designed for wide screens.

Have you tried flying in the (more realistic) VC?  Works well with WideViewAspect=True

TX Thanks for your reply. I had to resort to m old monitor 1260X1024, because the new one was Wide Aspect and left me with Flattened 2D panels and Oval Gauges, #D looked ok though. But I use 2d panels a lot instead of VC I used to have Banking camera installed on my old computer, but a FSX reinstall caused me to loose that installation which Paul J had helped to install.

I just got this computer with windows 8 64 and am learning all the new features.
