What is this of which you speak?

If you need to ask it probably doesn't affect you. :smile:

Oh all right. Some aircraft, for reasons only cleverer people than I understand, send too much information over the multiplayer connection causing other players grief. This fix prevents said grief. Carenado's C337 is one of those aircraft.

Thanks for the fix. I have looked at it and it changes all occurrences of (>K:SPOILERS_SET) to (>L:SPOILERS_SET) in the four sky337*.MDL files, because they are constantly executed and most >K: events send an UDP packet during online sessions.

Drawback is that the added drag while extending/retracting the gears caused by the gear doors is no longer simulated. To fix this, I have added the following to a small gauge xml I use for the C337:

<!-- set spoilers only once when gear is moving, requires change of
(>K:SPOILERS_SET) to (>L:SPOILERS_SET) in sky337*.MDL files -->
(L:SPOILERS_SET) s0 0 > (A:SPOILERS HANDLE POSITION,position) 0 >
!= if{ l0 (>K:SPOILERS_SET) }

I have verified that it actually still causes drag, but while I'm pretty sure that (>K:SPOILERS_SET) is no longer constantly called I have not verified it in actual online play.

Regards,
Thomas
