So most people have said that using FSUIPC for your joystick seems to fix the disconnect issue. How do I configure my joystick to work right? I use a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro,

usually you do it in control settings in FSX its the easier way to do it

You will need a registered version first off. Remove the assignments in fsx, then configure via fsuipc interface. Make sure each assignment is sent to fsuipc, not the default option to send command to fsx
