I have been experiencing CTD's with my new installation of FSX Gold edition in this new win 8 computer The driver the computer came with displays very well, I opened the Event Viewer to see what could be causing the CTD's before I do something drastic and revert to win7

Just as an explanation, I split your posts from the topic you posted at in the FS9 Forum and made a new topic.  Your issue applies to FSX, not FS9.
