May 31, 201313 yr I have just purchased the CoolSky DC9, and I will be paying close attention to the engine/cockpit/touchdown/rollout sounds when I check it out over the weekend. There is a TSS JT8D engine sound pack available, so I have another option if required. May 31, 201313 yr Moderator Perhaps it is difficult to see what I'm referring to unless you own the product. (If you do own it, feel free to have a go at locating those two sound files Bill!).... ....there's a virtual reward of a bottle of finest Spanish beer, (virtual and completly non-existent of course), to anyone that can locate these two sound files! Well, since I don't own the product, I won't be able to collect on that reward... <virtual belch> So, there's no sub-folder under the sim's default ..\Sound folder that has a familar name? Fr. May 31, 201313 yr So, there's no sub-folder under the sim's default ..\Sound folder that has a familar name? No not this time Bill, it's a tricky one! ..... I've visually scanned, ran searches, etc, etc in all directories on my C:/ drive, looking for the sounds that are extra-curricular to the sound.cfg sounds, and I must admit I'm beaten. There's no new directory added to the FSX/Sound directory and also no new 'loose' files that have been placed in there either. And no additional sound folder in the main BBS aircraft folder. ......it's got me baffled! I know zilch about gauges, so I am wondering whether it's possible to have audio files hidden away in gauge GAU files?
