October 19, 200421 yr Well,I have tried installing it and uninstalling it. I have re-formated my s: where i always had my FS9 installed. I have installed it and re-installed it 3 times, and no I can't get FS9 to show as version 9.1To be honest with you, I am pretty ###### about it. I had 34 GB of add-ons which I removed, it took hours. Moreover, I re-installed everything from scrath to give Microsoft a chance. However, I am of the conclusion that they could have done better. Worse, and this is what really, really, really gets me, is the way in which they seem to be so allusive and difficult to contact. Yes, I am ###### (expletive justified). If anyone can help me, or at least, put me in contact with Microsoft drirectly, instead of the merry-go-round they like to put people on, I would be extremely grateful.Thank you for taking the time out to read my post.Paul
October 19, 200421 yr Howdy Paul, and no I can't get FS9 to show as version 9.1Errrr ... actually, it doesn't show up as v.9.1 if you're looking for that in your Registry entry. It does, however, show when you right click your FS9.exe and check the Properties/Version/File Version which should (if updated) now read 9.01.040901.01If that's any help.
October 19, 200421 yr I see from Mike's post i am not the only one with this problem. It still reads version 9 when I right click on properties of the FS9.exe. It has truly got me baffled. Does anyone know the address of microsoft to email them? I am sick of going on their Merry-go-round-link tours to nowhere.thank you to all the people who have offered there assistance and advice so far.Paul

If the Properties tab shows version 9.1.0.40901, then your update was successful...However, the real test is: Does it run? ;) Fr.
