AOTD for 5/30/13 - Iditarod 24 - Safety

Recommended Posts

Our last checkpoint before Nome. It sure has been a long trip. I couldn't imagine doing this by dogsled. Flying it would be tough enough.

Enjoy.

Thank you.

Rick

It certainly has been a long and very interesting journey, although I would not do it by dogsled. :P

For reasons of further embarrassing myself... I will refrain from sharing photos of crashing my P-51 Red Tails ........againnn

Thought I wuz gonna hafta break out my glasses   :Nerd:  on that runway in Safety.... mannnnn THAT is a teeeeenie tinnnnnny runway.

Maybe I shouldn'ta used my P-51.  I had to skid sideways on run #2 just to make it. fear_zps3605e602.gif

Well, I did make it under the bridge. Sure glad I left the Mustang at home, that was a mighty tight fit!
