Hi guys,

 

I wonder if any of you is flying online on IVAO/VATSIM in the J41. If so, how do you "soft mute" FS2Crew while talking to ATC? I understand that the SM button is assigned to "Propeller Sync on/off", and I doubt that it's a good idea to turn Prop Sync on and off whenever speaking to the controller... Any ideas?

I don't think you can use keyboard control for JS41 PropSync. My FSX controls are disabled and all controls calibrated via registered version of FSUIPC. Anyway, i used JS41 and FS2Crew for a long time and never had a problem with this. 

 

I must check this - just to be sure, i didn't flied JS41 to often since i bought NGX and now Majestic Q400

You are right :-) Although the soft mute key is assigned to Prop Sync on/off, pressing the key actually doesn't flip the switch on the overhead panel. Great!
