This is the system that I am replacing, but right now it is the only one I'm running FSX on.

Ron, I've tried all your advice, and nothing seems to be working. Although, when you said "right click desktop and 'properties' then settings, advanced, then troubleshoot.  make sure the hardware acceleration slider is set to full." I couldn't find this after right clicking desktop. Did you mean something else? Other than that no luck on my side.

sorry, I was still in XP mode.

 

 

1. Choose Start > Control Panel.
2. under appearance and  Personalization and select adjust screen resolution.
3. Click Advanced Settings.
4. select troubleshoot then Change Settings.
5. Check the Hardware Acceleration slider is set to full.

Unfortunately the only remedy to the issue was to replace the card, and I'm happy to report everything is working perfectly!

So it was a dud card,  glad you got it sorted :rolleyes:
