I was curious if there is a feature to dim the HUD or a method to change the color of the text on the HUD so it's not quite so overpowering during night landings.  With its current color/intensity, it has a tendency to really washout the scenery in front of it, and I like to keep a watch out for things like runway incursions during night/twilight landings   If there is no setting for it via an adjustment, is there a place in a settings file where you can set a hex number to assign the color?

Just move your head up to combiner glass holder and you'll see a knob. Press it to switch to manual and adjust as needed.

As funny as it may seem... Pretty much everything about the NGX is written down in the manuals that came along with it. You just need to search for it.

HUD question - HUD working fine - but no signs. It's just green. Tried every combination with the HGS but no. It's on automatic. How do I fire it up? Carl

LoL!  Ok, this is too funny!  I've been flying the NGX since it came out and I'd wager I know some pretty obscure things about what's modeled in the sim, but in one of those "I have no idea why the hell I never thought to do that" moments;  I noticed that the cursor changed to the "pushbutton" que when floating it over the HUD brightness knob, but I never "clicked" it to switch to manual.  I only ever just assumed it was a knob and rotating the middle mouse wheel never did anything!  Who'd have thunk it (still laughing at myself!)
