Perhaps, Clive will now please comment...? ... while we wait for an Admin Staff Moderator to give the official MCE response to combining MCE with FSCaptainX? :Whistle:
June 21, 201312 yr Commercial Member I'm not Clive... just Your Olde Loudmouth Trav here.... First up, I can't say that the MCE gurus can't control FSCaptain (as FSC is now) because I've seen the MCE gang do some awfully impressive stuff over the past year or two. But I've spoken with Dutch today and we have a cunning plan in mind that could allow MCE (or other controllers... such as LINDA) to issue commands directly to FSCaptain. It would be late summer-ish (September or so) before these ideas might be implemented. I'll toss the FSC ideas out to the MCE overlords and hope to play "go-between" if anything thereafter becomes fruitful. Clive, feel free to jump in and call me a snark or a boojum if it would make everyone else feel better. ^_^ (Each product functions in a fully-functional trial mode for interested users.)

I appreciate your interest and help. Please just let us know how it develops in smoothing out a combine of MCE with FSCaptainX, maybe by late summer as you estimated. And I agree, the MCE gurus have produced some really amazing stuff over the past couple of years!
September 11, 201312 yr Commercial Member FSCaptain won't be ready to be interfaced with other applications in our current 1.4.5 rollout, but plans are that we will be in the version to follow... later in the good old Northern Hemispheric Autumn. (Each product functions in a fully-functional trial mode for interested users.)
