October 21, 200421 yr Yes, you can replace:www.reality-xp.comBut analog gauges remain non-smooth. So far no cure for that.Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2, Omega 2.7.90 (4xAA 16xAF) Michael J.
October 22, 200421 yr Author regarding analog gauges - someone else mentioned Project Magenta. They have a "GA-IFR" panel which is fairly application-specific (i.e. practicing instrument flying in GA aircraft) but does provide extremely smooth analog gauges. However - the best way to run any PM product is on a dedicated, 2nd computer. That system must have a reasonably capable OpenGL-compliant graphics accelerator, such as any later model NVidia card (not MX though). Trying to run these products on the same system as FS will probably be frustrating unless you have a really fast system with a multi-output graphics card.Dave Blevins System: Asus P8Z68 Deluxe/Gen3 mobo *** i7 2700K @ 5gHz w/ Corsair H80 cooler NVidia GTX 570 OC *** 8 GB 1600 Corsair Vengeance DRAM *** CoolerMaster HAF X case System overclocked and tuned for FSX by fs-gs.com Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog stick/throttle & CH Products Pro Pedals Various GoFlight panels *** PFC avionics stack
