June 28, 201312 yr Hi finlayc. A payware (FS9/FSX) program MultiCrewExperience may help in your circumstances. A free, time limited demo is available from their website, a forum exists here at AVSIM and many cockpit videos exist if one searches via Google. Perhaps the freighter version of the 747 is supported (I don't own it) however the 'normal' 747 certainly is along with the MD11, MD11F, NGX, J41 and many popular aircraft. The developers, FS++, are renowned for being speedy, super supportive and co-operative. If the demo doesn't quite work with the 747F drop them a line in the forum. The program also communicates with ATC via interfaces with Radar Contact and Pro Flight Emulator as well as Microsoft default. Hope this helps.
