June 29, 201312 yr While looking at my main FS9 cfg file I saw in the folder where the FS9 cfg file is kept C/users/name/Appdata/Roaming/Mocrosoft/FS9 there is a folder named AIRCRAFT and it has a bunch of aircraft in there (some I don't even have anymore). If I click on the folders some are empty but others have a cfg file named "state". Does anyone know why this is there? I am guessing it is safe to delete the folders? What does the cfg file state for?
June 29, 201312 yr That is where FS keeps track of the engine hours for your planes. Delete them if you want. That will reset all the Hobbs meters in your planes to zero and FS will start rebuilding them the next time you start the sim. IMO you might as well leave them alone. regards, Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
June 29, 201312 yr Author Thanks! I will delete the planes I don't have anymore and the AI planes that are in that folder.
June 29, 201312 yr Knock yourself out. Like I said, FS will just rebuild them next time you start the sim. regards, Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
