They do work in X plane 10 thought.

Any ideas?

Try downloading and using SPAD as the drivers.  Mine works great in FSX.

Downloaded Spad but it says is not connected to FSX

What do I need to make it connect?

Check the exe.xml file in %appdata%\microsoft\fsx directory to see if it contains the following entry;

 

  <Launch.Addon>
    <Disabled>False</Disabled>
    <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
    <Name>SPAD</Name>
    <Path>C:\FlightSim Files\SPAD\SPAD.exe</Path>
  </Launch.Addon>

 

Note: The path that points to the SPAD.exe file will likely be different on your machine.  If the entry isn't present, then open exe.xml in a text editor and add the entry (with the correct directory) after the last </Launch.Addon> entry.
