Problems with Rex Plus-OD

Featured Replies

I installed Rex-Plus Overdrive and I load up all the textures. However, when I enter FSX I do not see any Rex changes made and I get the pop-up window that says: "The weather theme could not be loaded. Please check that this file exists and try again". I'm not sure what I am doing wrong and no matter what variation I try I am unable to get rex to work without the above message popping up every 5-10 seconds. I'm unable to post on the rex forums because nobody has verified my purchase yet. Unfortunately  I am unable to read through the posts on this issue for the same reason and I was hoping someone here may have an idea of how to fix this.

Heya Red,

I got the same message when I just installed Opus, and it was due to the fact that Opus, like REX, supports both FSX and Prepar3D. The installation automatically installs both options.

However, I had left the radio button for Prepar3D highlighted. When I changed the selection to FSX everything worked.

Where is this radio button? Is it in FSX or would it be in Rex? I stupidly paid for Prepar3D because I was just reading along the manual and did not understand what I was paying for. I thought it had something to do with getting live weather updates.
