iniBuilds A300-600 has been released! (reopened)
In what way? I suspect with A2A you are referring to wear and tear/need for external inspections, but do you mean its like A2A in that its both external and internal systems being fully fleshed out?

iniBuilds A300-600 has been released! (reopened)
How does this airliner compare to pmdg and fenix products? Is it the same level in terms of system design? For those who are flying it how is it running? Is it well optimized? I looked at some videos and the flight deck looks great at night. Also has anyone flown it using the thrustmaster airbus stick and throttle? Wondering how those will work with this.

SLC (Self Loading Cargo) version 1.6 released
I just picked up SLC and have done a few flights with it using the Fenix a320 and GSX, It is working pretty well. I need to make some adjustments, but overall it has added a lot of immersion to the flight.

windows 10 upgrade
I have fsx (I also have steam but haven't switched over to it) and a number of addons PMG, majestic dash 8, rex soft clouds and textures, ASN, proatc, fs2crew, various addon airports etc. I have been using windows 7, but am thinking about upgrading to windows 10. Are all the various addons now working with windows 10 or will upgrading create a problem? Has upgrading improved simulator performance for anyone? I have been holding off on upgrading so that I didn't break anything but its been awhile now. Thanks

Indepth comparison between P3D V2.5 and V3
I'm toying with the idea of switching over to P3D from FSX. I have OOM problems with FSX when I use the 777 to the point where I don't even fly the plane anymore. Is the improvement worth switching over from FSX knowing that I will have to repurchase a number of planes etc?

PROATC-X v1.7 Released
I purchased this product in the past few months and so far have only used it once. I need to get motivated to go through everything to set it up properly, but this update may be the motivation I need to really dig in and get it up and running for some of my flights. Active development of a product is never a bad thing!

PRO-ATC/X version 1.4 is out
I bought this product, but have only had one flight with it so far. I need to do a lot of tweaking as it did not work super well, but I didn't do much in the way of setup so I will have to reserve judgement until I have time to really dig into it and see what it can do.

SP2
Yes, I don't remember reading about another update coming for 737ngx. Is there a post somewhere that takes about what the additional functionality might be? One of the reasons why I am happy to spend money on pmdg products is they continue to update them and make improvements to their products, which are pretty darn great already. Chris H

Some NGX Q/A
I usually set the knobs on the overhead panel and I think when using fs2crew the co-pilot may do it. No idea if it makes a difference, but I do it anyway.

Best FSX Turboprop?
I have the Dash 8. Although I primarily fly the 737ngx or pmdg 777, the dash 8 is quite good and rather an involved plane to fly. I would recommend it.

Best Weather Engine?
I use ASN with rex textutes/soft clouds and I am happy with it.

Best ATC software
I think I asked this in the past but things change as new developments occur. I have been away from fsx for awhile now and am wondering what the best atc software out there is. I fly mainly jetliners like the 737 ngx or pmdg 777. I have voxatch but have been looking at pro atc x. For awhile it seemed like they vanished but I am not sure that is the case anymore.

Best youtube tutorial for 737ngx
Thanks. I took a quick look at some of the videos and liked what I saw. I will go through them this weekend in detail along with Kyle's tutorial.

Best youtube tutorial for 737ngx
Yes, I have watched pretty much every froogle video and I am an avid follower of his. I do currently have pfpx, topcat, asn and rex soft clouds. I haven't updated my navigraph in like a year though and have never purchased charts although I have used google and have EFB. I will look into the chart app for ipad. By the way your rundown of SOP 3 is great I will probably print it out for when I give it a try.

Best youtube tutorial for 737ngx
Since I purchased fs2crew reboot I am going to start flying the 737ngx again after taking a break from the flight sim. Can anyone recommend a really thorough youtube video explaining the procedures for flying etc, so I can refresh my memory. I'm not talking about a quick this is how I do it but its not realistic type of deal. I can get the plane from point A to point B myself even from a cold and dark. I'm looking for more of an authentic this is similar to real world procedures and explaining some of the nuances and advanced concepts. I still haven't found a youtube with someone running sop 3, well I did find one video but the sound is whacky on it and I can't hear the copilot. I'm just looking to get back into it and to take my simming to more advanced level. Chris H

PRO-ATC/X version 1.4 is out
How is pro-atc X now? Specifically I want to use it for IFR with te 737ngx, 777 etc and I am wondering if it is still a work in progress or if it has reached a stage where its worth spending the money for and is functional without a lot of hassle. I've been holding off for awhile. Thanks.

I wish that PMDG would release light versions
PMDG design products to be realistic. The failures can easily be shutoff so I do not see why you would need a totally separate product for that. It sounds like you just want a cheaper option to buy, since you do not use all the failures etc. I think the Majestic dash-8 had different pricing with their plane, but honestly I prefer one price. I may not use failures today but in the future I would like to have the option to use them. I get what you are saying, but there are a lot of options you can use with pmdg software to modify your experience to your liking. If your having problems flying the plane you can pick up something like fs2crew for a virtual copilot which helps. If your just not happy with paying the price for options you don't use well those are the breaks. Someday you may decide you want to use those options. Chris H

Steam Sale FSX + DCS
Yep, just saw this on steam when I was picking something else up. I haven't decided to switch over to FSX steam yet, but I bought it since its on sale and I am strongly considering a move once I know all my addons will work with it.

Words I need to share with our Community
Tom, while I do not have the honor of knowing you personally I did have the privilege of reading many of your posts as I have learned soo much from this site. There are no words I can really offer, but I wanted to share my thanks for your contributions to the flightsim community and helping open my eyes to this wonderful hobby. Chris

[05MAR15] PMDG 737NGX Versions for FSX/FSX-SE & P3D Released
I've reinstalled the 737 ngx to no effect. The operations center says I have the current update, but when I load fsx it loads up the old version (I confirm this in fmc). Are the old liveries still showing in fsx, or would the update (if it goes through) update all current ngx liveries in fsx? Chris Hoyt

NGX Reboot is under development!
That definitely would make me more likely to upgrade from the current version I have.

NGX Reboot is under development!
If you enjoy the T7 then get the ngx. There is a lot more to do with the ngx in terms of flight prep as the t7 is very automated. PMDG is pushing an ngx update that will give it weather radar etc. I really enjoy flying it and if your doing shorter flights its more realistic to use than the T7 which is long haul. Chris

FlyTampa, Toronto
I never made the ump to the dx10 with the fix. Is it worthwhile? Does it help with vas issues at all?
