Since I purchased fs2crew reboot I am going to start flying the 737ngx again after taking a break from the flight sim. Can anyone recommend a really thorough youtube video explaining the procedures for flying etc, so I can refresh my memory. I'm not talking about a quick this is how I do it but its not realistic type of deal. I can get the plane from point A to point B myself even from a cold and dark. I'm looking for more of an authentic this is similar to real world procedures and explaining some of the nuances and advanced concepts. I still haven't found a youtube with someone running sop 3, well I did find one video but the sound is whacky on it and I can't hear the copilot. I'm just looking to get back into it and to take my simming to more advanced level.

You can't go wrong with Froogle's video series on the NGX. Thought me a bunch. Hope it helps.

Whats wrong  with the tutorials  that came  with the ngx,  think  Kyle  has  done  one  on the ngx   as well

Froogle/Pete is great love his work, he is entertaining and yes you can learn a lot if your new from him but he always makes mistakes  :wink:  :smile:

 

Kyle, (no offence Kyle :Black Eye: ) is less entertaining but is a far better teacher. His work to me even has a feel of " sit down, listen, don't talk and I might ask you questions later, I will begin..."

So if you want a good solid start watch this, Kyle is the man for the job.  :smile:

In the NG flows there is one for SOP3 (Ryanair) that is like a walk though but not by the hand, you still need to know what your doing.

 

Also if you really want to get into the NG and use it to its full. I would recommend you buy PFPX and Topcat. Also navigraph subscription for all the charts you will need and keeping PFPX/Topcat/NG's FMS all upto date with the current Data. The Chart App for the iPad is great.

 

Don't forget to get ASN also and REX Soft clouds also. 

Ryanair Virtual are down at the moment building a brand new VAMSYS for recording your flights, but I highly recommend joining them. http://vryr.eu/

Yes, I have watched pretty much every froogle video and I am an avid follower of his. I do currently have pfpx, topcat, asn and rex soft clouds. I haven't updated my navigraph in like a year though and have never purchased charts although I have used google and have EFB. I will look into the chart app for ipad.  

By the way your rundown of SOP 3 is great I will probably print it out for when I give it a try.
