Question about Mozilla Firefox downloader

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Just wondering if the default Mozilla Firefox downloader is good enough for downloading large files?

I'm going to purchase FTX Global in about a week and I've never had to download anything that big before.  I think it's 4 gigs.

I have very slow connection so I'll have to leave it overnight to download.  My lame download speed is about 1 megabyte per minute.  Even slower if other people at home are online on their computers.

It should be fine. I've never had an issue with it. As long as the connection stays/your computer does not lose power, the download should be successful. If you are concerned, you could always use a free download manager of some sort that supports resuming.
