I got SimLauncher 8.9 but when running it i get a popup screen saying this:

and I double check to see if I have that file in my main FSX/P3D's root folder, it's there and the version is 4.671 which is the latest one.

You need to download Peter Dowson's Makerunways utility, currently version 4.65, and extract it in your main FSX/P3D folder and run it.

Simlauncher is asking you to do this in your error message.

Hope this helps. Simlauncher is a superb utility.

Got it now, thank you so much! :) Yes so many options, gonna have to play with this for a bit to see how everything works.

I don't sim without it. Indispensable.

Remember that if you install any airport sceneries in future you'll need to run Makerunways before you use Simlauncher again.

The same holds true if you're using FS2 Crew's RAAS add-on, either stand alone or as part of the Airbus Extended.

Yup, i totally agree. I currently have to keep changing my fsx.cfg for certain flights, and it gets so frustrating. Now with this utility, I can define multiple configs and choose, and go. Makes things so much easier.
