I have Active Sky 2012 installed and up and running - nicely.

 

Can I uninstall ASE and ASA now? Or are there some dependencies there. I had to have them installed to install Active Sky 2012, so not sure here.

I uninstalled ASE with no issues running AS2012 afterwards. But you could always make a copy of the ASE folder, uninstall it and see if AS2012 runs fine. Delete the backup if AS2012 is okay.

If you installed the upgrade version and plan on reinstalling you will need ASE on the system.

 

Otherwise submit a support ticket.
