Hi guys,

First of all, sorry for my bad English, i'm writing from France.

 

I've just bought FS2Crew bundle pack for 737+emergency addon, and I spent the evening trying to make the soft work but I cant find where i fail.

 

I installed the soft, then i Installed the SP1c for 737 (800/900 600/700)

Then i chose Button version and activated it.

 

I chose the 2D as default option and took an other plane.

In game, i select PMDG 737. Then Virtual Cockpit.

And i have nothing, no FS2Crew panel, and the "invisible" button to activate it near the fire alarm button, doesnt work, i have nothing to press on this zone.

 

Can you tell me what i missed ?

 

I tryied to uninstall everything : fs2crew, and the pmdg 737 (plane + update).

 

When i reinstalled, I didnt see a new gauge alert for fs2crew (the security message to trust the gauge), is it normal ?

Did you click on the backup artificial horizon? That is the secret pop up area for the Button console.

 

Are you using a legit copy...

Can you please give me a screenshot of this button ?

And yes, i bought everything, i may have spent around 1000€ for this game

Your problem is you need to disable UAC (User Account Control).

 

You have a window right permission issue that is "blocking" FS2Crew from updating the NGX's panel.cfg file.

 

So please disable UAC and try again.

Please open the panel.cfg file for the NGX and tell me if you see FS2Crew Window entries on it.

FS2Crew was successfully added to your panel.cfg, which is good.

 

Try opening the FS2Crew Main Panel via Views -> Instrument panel.

Well... how stupid I am I didnt know that new views were added on the menu. I just tryied to find it in "addon" menu. So i can see the main panel now.

So ? Everything is ok finally for me ?

Correct, FS2Crew is not in the ADDONS menu.

 

Please read the manual thoroughly.

 

You can assign a button to your joystick/keyboard to open the FS2Crew Main Panel.

Thx a lot for your help. I'm going to learn how to use the soft now. You can lock the thread. Just a last question before you lock but its out of the subject, i tryied the voice version, and when i click on "voice" to set it to "ON" I doesnt work. The "ON" light is just set as soon as i dont release the click.

OK it should be a speech Recognizer problem, i'm gonna have a look on it. Thx !

The 'Language' setting on the Speech Properties -> Speech Recognition page must be set to ENGLISH - US

 

Mine is in french, do you know where i can find the option to download the English set ?

If you are running a non-English 'Home' version of Windows 7 or Vista, and you cannot set your speech language setting to English - US, you have four options:

1. Upgrade to Windows 'Ultimate' or 'Enterprise'. 'Ultimate' or 'Enterprise' owners are able to download and install the English language pack from

Microsoft, but 'Home' version owners cannot.

2. Downgrade to Windows XP.

3. Install Vistalizator. Vistalizator will switch your OS to English. Many FS2Crew users from non-English speaking countries have used Vistalizator

successfully so they can enjoy the benefits of Voice Control. (Note: To use Vistalizator, you do not need to uninstall Windows 7 SP1... all you need to

do is run Vistalizator in compatibility mode.)

4. Use a 'Button Control ' version of FS2Crew instead of Voice Control.

You can also get Windows 8.

 

That's your best solution.  Win 8 allows anyone to download the English US language pack.

 

And you can also use the "Button Control" version since it doesn't use Voice.

Yes, Vistalizator (www.froggie.sk) is the best option now barring upgrading to Windows 8.

 

It works perfectly for non Anglo O/S users.
