I finally got round to adding a few:

 

 

For those interested, drop these into \Addon Scenery\scenery folder (Remove .txt suffix for unzipping)

Awesome! Thanks for doing this. It's a perfect scenery for helo ops so this really makes an excellent addon even more useful

 

For anyone who uses this, I found that I had to change the default program so it would open it as a zip instead of a text file. Changing the file extension didn't automatically mean it would open with my zip program. You will need to go to properties (right click on the file and select) and get whatever zip program you use to be the default for the file instead of your text editing program

I use XP where you just rename the file by deleting the .txt suffix, and you can then unzip.

Thanks for the note Ian, no other grizzing so I assume the other 2 dozen or so downloaders have it working OK.

 

Actually, there are an awful lot of heliports around Dubai when you start looking... I suppose if your building doesn't have one, you are kind of second rate around there!    

If you get the urge to work on another scenery, FlyTampa Kai Tak would be fun too. Same thing as Dubai - a really awesome urban scenery with lots of places to fly choppers too and so realistic that it's immersive even at low level

What a great system... I get to suggest something and someone else actually does the work to make it happen.. Now why can't I get this system to work with my kids?? LOL

 

It really is an awesome scenery and I have an entire traffic set that I use exclusively with it and a couple of other Asian sceneries from that time period. If you can do that mate, it would be great.... I can't think of another scenery that is so dense and so good while flying low and slow - and without any FPS issues. Pure magic... Fly Tampa really does rule!!!!

It works exactly the way it works with the kids: only if there's a confluence of interest, and don't imagine this happens on any timescale you propose!  :lol:

Macau might get a heliport too... I've just cracked the full helicopter autopilot install and will probably never fly small GA again as a result!
