August 6, 201312 yr Sure there is reason not to develop a feature... How many of the active NGX users fly Polar routes with it? My guess is... Close to zero. How many hours of extra work would it have taken, and how many days delay would there have been if they had to develop and test it? Probably quite a few. So why waste time and resources on it? Sure, the 777 has it, because it's part of the core routes the 777 flies, not so with the NGX. Maybe they add it to SP2 for the NGX, maybe they don't. But there sure is reason enough why they didn't include it at launch. Name available upon request
