Split Scimitar Winglets?

I was approached by one of my friends who was talking about this particular upgrade on the Boeing 737... at first I was a bit skeptic, calling it a Airbus knockoff. But apparently this is the real deal and they are installed on some of the United Airlines fleet. 

 

Here is a picture of the split scimitar winglet:

Will PMDG create an update to the 737NGX that will feature this new addition?

If anything, this is an MD-11 knockoff, not Airbus.

 

Also, maybe later when more data is available. Emphasis on maybe.
