August 5, 201312 yr I appriciate that explanation Tom! Its all very confusing this copyright stuff (now a little less). I mean you are allowed to look at the picture for free at Google and at Airliners.net. So I would assume the photographer is proud of his picture and want the world to see it. And yet, when you post it here......that is illigal?! I always thought copyright means you are not allowed to change the picture or make money with it unless you ask the photographer first. Oh well, I usually only use my own pictures and screenshots anyway if I want to show something. The same counts for the Boeing manuals I understand. You are not allowed to copy a page out of the QRH and post it here correct? But you can retype (or quote) a whole page from the QRH and post that, correct? Same same but different. Funny! Rob Robson

If you want to re-distrubute copyrighted content you have to ask the Photographer, Developer and so on. If they say no then so be-it, you're simply not allowed. The main reason you see the copyright "©" is because such products are protected against the people out there who try and say it is there software or product and sell it on, that is simply against the law in many countries if not all. For the same reason, why are A.net photos copyrighted? Well because the photographer(s) don't want some random person taking there photograph and using it, claiming it is theres and so on...
August 5, 201312 yr And the really egregious sin that got that dude banned was that he misquoted Randazzo. Randazzo actually said; "Tom is a GOOD LOOKING FAT SLOB who buys me endless beers and meals". It's not nice to make fun of anyone's weight or body type, even in so called jest. Comments like that are hurtful to one's self worth.
